Detroit Free Press Marathon/ New Balance Half Marathon/ Kar's Nuts 5-Person Relay / 5k

October 21st, 2012

Another extremely popular race is the Detroit Marathon.  You will see FASTers in the marathon, the half, and in the relay teams.  NEW in 2010 - we would like to see some FAST team relays enter into the mix.   With distances ranging from 3 - 6.6 miles, there is a distance for everybody!    With this race, you get to see it all - the Bridge, the Tunnel, Belle Isle, Mexican Town, Indian Village, Downtown Detroit... what an amazing race to call your first Half or full marathon, or even to participate in a team to accomplish the 26.2 miles.

For those FASTers who are not distance runners, if there is enough interest we will put together a relay team or two as interest mounts.  Please contact and let me know if you are interested.

If there is a run or race that you would like listed, please email
