Running: General Info

Running is often the least intimidating aspect of triathlon, but one which should be respected all the same.   You will find our members all over the globe running for fun and for sport.

Whether you are a strict weekend jogger  or a Boston Qualifier in Marathon, you will find someone in FAST with similar goals.

We offer many opportunities to get in some good running at different Metro-Detroit locations.  From our Tuesday night bike/run bricks out on Hines Drive where some members opt to run a 5-, 10-, or even 15k distance while others are riding bikes, to our Wednesday PM and Saturday AM swims at Island Lake Recreational Area where some members opt to run through Island Lake and Kennsington.

With FAST you are never short of a running companion or destination, and you always have a cheering section at races just for you!
